Nate Stockard: Good morning, Nate Stockard here with Blue Atlas Marketing. After a little technical issue, I’m trying this one more time, but I want to introduce you to something we’ll be doing every week called the Monday Marketing Minute. This is really just a quick one minute, just a little quick tip advice, some kind of a bit of a news just get your Monday going.

I know Monday’s, after coming back from a long weekend, things pile up a little bit. I’m sure you’re going to be just as busy as we are, so I just want to take a minute every time. I’m introducing you to the topics we will be covering this week. Every day during the week, we will be going live, talk a little bit more about the weekly topic. You can find out what the weekly topic is right here on the Monday Morning Marketing Minute.

Let’s jump right into today’s Monday Marketing Minute. This week, we’re going to tell you a bit about redesigning your website and planning for that. I mean, we’ve worked with a lot of websites. We launch a lot of websites throughout the year. We know the things that can help the process go smoother, save some money and we also know the things that can help derail a project. We want to help you not derail a project and be able to launch your sites on time, and really be prepared while being  a big part of the process.

This week, we’ll be rolling out a kit and some worksheets and things like that. But the tip I want to give you today on our Monday Marketing Minute is, before you even get into the website, think about who your perfect customer is, who is it that you’re actually marketing to! Too many times we get started with the process, and as we talk about messaging and content, we don’t really have a good idea of who our target market is, or who the person we’re really trying to talk to.

As you get started today, as you’re talking through maybe a website redesign or just looking at some things, take a look at your customer avatar or your customer persona. Put some thought together who exactly your perfect client is and who your perfect client is not, so you know who you’re marketing to.

Well, guys, this has been your Monday Marketing Minute, a little bit longer today as we introduce what we’re doing here, what you can find every week. Make sure you subscribe to our live updates so you get a notification when these pop up. We’ll take just a minute of your time on Monday to get you started for the week. I hope you guys have a great rest of your week.
