Website Accessibility Remediation — Fix WCAG & ADA Issues at the Source
You have the findings. We make the fixes in your site’s code — and prove they worked.

Overlays Don’t Fix the Problem
Accessibility overlays and widgets use JavaScript to add features like text resizing, color, and contrast controls, but they don’t fix the underlying code. As a result, accessibility barriers remain—and overlays can even interfere with screen readers and keyboard navigation.
Because they don’t achieve WCAG conformance, overlays alone don’t satisfy Title II requirements.
In 2025, 1,416 organizations using accessibility overlays were sued over accessibility, up from 1,023 in 2024. About a quarter of all digital accessibility lawsuits now involve sites with an overlay installed. In April 2025, the FTC also fined a major overlay vendor $1 million for false advertising.

What We Remediate

PDFs are where most government and higher-ed sites carry the largest volume of inaccessible content. We remediate the documents themselves, not just the pages that link to them.
Markup and structure — semantic HTML, heading order, landmarks, reading order
ARIA and interactive components — menus, modals, accordions, carousels, custom controls
Keyboard and focus — full operability without a mouse, visible focus, logical tab order
Color and contrast — text, UI components, and states brought to AA ratios
Forms — labels, instructions, error identification, and recovery
Images and media — alternative text, captions, transcripts, accessible players
PDFs and documents — tags, reading order, and form fields for board packets, agendas, meeting minutes, and financial-aid and enrollment forms
Built for Your Platform
Our in-house developers work daily in the systems public-sector and higher-ed sites run on: WordPress, CivicPlus, FinalSite, Drupal, Revize, and more. Fixes are built the right way for your stack, so they hold through theme updates and content edits instead of breaking the next time a page changes.

How Remediation Works
Prioritize.
Fix on staging.
Re-test and validate.
Confirm.
Remediation runs from a few weeks to a few months, depending on the number of issues, the size of the site, and the document volume. You get a timeline with your quote, updated as the work moves.
Send us your findings – we’ll scope the fix
Whether your issues came from our audit, another vendor’s scan, or a complaint, we’ll turn them into a prioritized remediation plan and a fixed quote.
