Nobody Budgets for the Website Until It’s Down

Sites don’t fail all at once. They decay quietly, over about three years, and every step looks small at the time.

Plugins and core drift a few versions behind. A contact form breaks and nobody notices for six weeks, because nobody was watching submissions. Someone uploads a 4MB image and page speed drops. A PDF goes up untagged and the site is no longer accessible. Three people who left the company still have admin accounts. The backup has been failing silently since March.

Then it costs you something concrete. A breach and the disclosure that follows. Downtime during the week you’re exhibiting, or the day a customer’s supplier review runs. Data you can’t recover because nobody ever tested the restore. A compliance finding on a site nobody was watching.

Eventually leadership decides the site is tired and commissions a rebuild, paying six figures to solve a problem that a few hundred dollars a month of attention would have prevented.

Blue Atlas maintains and wholly supports your website, functionality, and security. It’s the difference between an asset and a depreciating one.

Two Ways to Start

We build the site that gets you into the evaluation and keeps you there.

Run the free coverage diagnostic.

Answer a few questions about your site and what it does for the business. You get an instant assessment and a recommended coverage level.

No call required, and no obligation to buy anything.

What’s Not Covered

What your CMS or host leaves to you

Or send us the site for a free technical review.

We look at what you actually have running and tell you plainly what it needs.

  • Theme, Plugins & Hosting
    What it’s running, what’s unmaintained, what’s a security surface, and what’s conflicting.
  • Security, Backups & Performance
User access, patch status, whether the backup has ever been restored, and what Core Web Vitals say.
  • Stabilize or Rebuild
A straight recommendation. Sometimes it’s keep the site another two years, and we’ll say so.

Plenty of the sites we maintain, we didn’t build. The review lays a foundation for your site’s current state and what you need to bring it current and secure.

What Every Plan Covers

An untested backup is a hope, not a backup. We restore them on a schedule to prove they work, which is the single most common gap we find on sites arriving from another vendor.

isometric website technical support system update

Managed Hosting — 100GB space and bandwidth, tuned for WordPress

24/7 Monitoring — Uptime, DDoS protection, and IP blocking, with immediate action on critical issues

Security Scanning — Daily malware and threat scans with alerts on suspicious activity

Core, Theme & Plugin Updates — Applied on a defined schedule and checked, never pushed blindly to a live site

Backups and Tested Restores — Daily, held in multiple locations, and restored periodically to confirm they work

Vulnerability Management — Weekly checks against known vulnerabilities, patched on a set cadence

Accessibility Maintenance — Scheduled scanning, because new content is where conformance quietly slips

Support Hours — A monthly block for the page edits, product additions, document uploads, and personnel changes that otherwise sit in an inbox

Reporting and a Named Contact — A monthly summary of what was done, and a person who answers

What Your CMS or Host Doesn’t Cover

If your site runs on a hosted platform, its built-in features generally cover the platform’s own templates and core code. The content your team adds, including pages, custom components, and especially uploaded PDFs and documents, stays your responsibility. Platform vendors are explicit about this, and that content is where most problems live.

Standard hosting is the same story. It keeps the server running. It does not update your plugins, test your restores, review who still has admin access, or notice that a form stopped sending three weeks ago. Our plans cover exactly that gap.

How Coverage Works

Diagnose.

Run the free diagnostic or send us the site. Either way you get a recommended tier and a plain account of what’s exposed.

Onboard.

We take inventory, harden the configuration, verify a restore, and clear the backlog of pending updates before coverage starts.

Maintain.

Monitoring, updates, security, backups, and your support hours on the schedule your tier defines.

Report.

A monthly summary of what changed and what was handled, plus a named contact who answers when something matters.

Emergencies are classified as downtime exceeding twenty minutes. They’re acknowledged within two hours and resolved within twenty-four, unless the cause sits with a third party such as an outside host or registrar. Regular maintenance requests are acknowledged within twelve hours and completed within seventy-two.

Find out what level of coverage your site actually needs

Take the diagnostic and get a tier recommendation in a few minutes, or send us the URL and we’ll review what you’re running. Either way you’ll know where you’re exposed before you spend anything.
