Overview
Blue Atlas led the full rebrand and marketing strategy for Energyfest’s return after a 10-year hiatus, delivering a unified campaign that drove attendance, strengthened community engagement, and brought new visibility to the Energy Corridor District.

Challenge
After a 10-year hiatus, the Energy Corridor District decided to revive one of West Houston’s most beloved traditions: Energyfest. What started as a one-time anniversary celebration had evolved into a key community event, and its return needed to be bigger and bolder than ever. The challenge was multifaceted:
- Reintroduce a long-dormant brand: A decade-long break meant the festival was unknown to anew generation of residents and businesses. We needed to create a marketing campaign thatnot only announced its return but also built fresh excitement and brand recognition.
- Modernize the brand identity: The festival needed a new visual identity that reflected itsmodern vision—celebrating Energy, Community, and Culture.
- Drive high engagement and attendance: The marketing efforts needed to translate into real-world results: high turnout, strong community participation, and successful business engagement.
- Manage a complex project: The scale of the event—with multiple stages, diverse vendors, and extensive community programming—required a marketing partner with the capacity to manage all promotional assets, from initial announcements to on-site collateral.

Solution
Blue Atlas stepped in as the full-service marketing partner for the Energy Corridor District, taking on theentire scope of the Energyfest campaign. Our solution was a comprehensive, end-to-end strategy that covered every touchpoint of the festival experience.
Our partnership included:
- Full Branding & Visual Identity: We created a fresh, modern brand for the revitalized Energyfest. This new look and feel was applied across all platforms, from the festival’s website to social media graphics, banners, signage, and flyers, ensuring a cohesive and memorable brand identity.
- Strategic Communication: We crafted press releases that highlighted key features like the headlining act, Swimwear Department, and worked with partners to showcase the festival’s diverse offerings, including Bites Boulevard, Adventure Alley, Thrive Here Corridor, and more.
- Comprehensive Asset Creation: We designed all the promotional assets needed to bring the event to life, including:
- The official Energyfest.org website to serve as a central hub for all event information and RSVPs.
- Promotional flyers and banners for physical distribution throughout the district.
- Event collateral, including maps, signage, and merchandise designs.
- Social Media Management: We managed the day-to-day social media campaign, scheduling content that showcased the festival’s food, music, and community spirit to generate excitement and drive attendance.
